Memorial Day is an American Holiday originally known as Decoration Day, originated after the Civil War. It became an official holiday in 1971.

How can we thank the men and women who gave their lives so we could live free? It is not an easy question to answer.
But I will try. A day of recognition is a start. We must also respect and live our lives being proud of this country. It is a country to be proud of.

I will end with a quote from President Ronald Reagan,
“FREEDOM IS NEVER MORE THAN ONE GENERATION AWAY FROM
EXTINCTION”
